KJ Denhert Benefit Concert for Westchester Collaborative Theater
Ossining, NY On Saturday, April 29, local urban folk and jazz legend KJ Denhert will hold a benefit concert for Westchester Collaborative Theater to promote their new performance space at 23 Water Street in Ossining.
This event will inaugurate this intimate new performance space as a venue for performing artists throughout the lower Hudson Valley. Local Ossining music legend KJ Denhert and her duo will be featured in 2 sets at 8:00 and 10:00pm to kick-off a series of theater, music and spoken word events that will be booked at the performance space in the future.
Tickets for the 8pm set are $40 and includes refreshments & hors d'oeuvres.
Tickets for the 10pm set are $20 for admission only.
Tickets that include both sets are $50
KJs performance will move you to laugh, to dance and even to cry. Her special blend of urban folk & jazz has earned her four Independent Music Award nominations and in 09 she was named one of Jazz.coms top female vocalists. KJ has appeared at scores of festivals and has residencies at the 55 Bar in NYC and the Baz Bar in St. Barts. She also recently completed seven consecutive residencies at the prestigious Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy. She performs solo, duo and with her full band. Consistently praised for her pathos, originality and impeccable musicianship, KJ is one of a kind and not to be missed.
