Attendees to the 1st Annual GLAONS Oncology Care Summit (OCS 2017)
The GLAONS Oncology Care Summit (OCS),The Premier Oncology Nursing Event in Southern California, happens on Saturday, September 9, 2017 (7 am to 5 pm) at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE,900 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA.
The agenda includes thought leaders from across the country. The Oncology Care Summit provides engaging lectures from outstanding faculty and an opportunity to network with the Greater LA Area oncology nurses working at the bedside, in clinics, in advanced practice, in research and in industry. Participants will improve their understanding of New Oncology Drugs, Cancer and Sexuality, Cancer Survivorship, metastatic Colorectal Cancer, Renal Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Cancer Healthcare Delivery, and the Caregiver/Patient Experience.
8 hours of continuing education will be awarded for full-day attendance. No partial credit will be awarded. GLAONS is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing: Provider number CEP9223.
Until August 31, 2017, OCS costs only $79 for RNs and Advanced Practice Nurses and provides 8 CEUs. The $79 reservation fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Scholarships are available for every RN/APN who reserves a space by August 31, 2017 and shows up at the conference. The $100 scholarship will help cover reservation fee, transportation, parking, etc. Presence at the conference is required.(Nurses who receive reimbursement from their employers are not eligible for a scholarship.)
Refer a nurse to sign up for OCS and you could win two tickets to Hawaii (some restrictions apply). A nurse already signed up for OCS who refers another nurse to sign up between July 1 and August 31, 2017 will be entered into a drawing for 2 economy tickets* to Hawaii. One entry for each nurse referred and who signs up for OCS. Drawing will take place at OCS 2017. Both the referring and the referred nurse must be present in order for the referring nurse to win. Referring nurse must email the names of both referring and referred nurses to: glaons@yahoo.com Referred nurse must complete the referral questions when reserving through Brown Paper Tickets. Promotion is not retroactive.
