"Digital Photography and Visual Storytelling" Workshop with Andy Richter & Selma Fernandez Richter
Everwood Farmstead Foundation is proud to present the Artist Workshop - "Digital Photography and Visual Storytelling" with Andy Richter & Selma Fernandez Richter on Saturday, October 14th from 10 am-5 pm! This workshop is designed for amateur to advanced photographers who want to develop their photography skills and go beyond casual snaps.
In this all-day workshop (class size will not exceed 20), participants will explore ways of seeing and story telling through the digital lens. Whatever equipment you choose to use to photograph works, be it a phone, point and shoot or DSLR. Before the Workshop, participants will be asked to email the instructors 10 low-resolution photographs that best reflect how they see. At the Workshop, Selma & Andy will share their photographs from a number of different projects. Afterwards, participants will explore the farm and work with light, composition and content to practice their seeing. The group will then gather together to review, edit and have a conversation about the work they have created.
