"Eye Of The Tiger" LIVE in Blue Ridge!!!
In 1983, Sylvester Stallone approached an up-and-coming rock band and asked them to write a theme song to his upcoming movie, Rocky III. Little did they know at that time that this request would lead to one of the most iconic rock anthems of all time, "Eye Of The Tiger", which propelled Survivor into the rock and roll stratosphere, and spent SEVEN WEEKS on top of the Billboard Hot 200 Chart.
In an incredibly exclusive engagement, Firefly Music in Blue Ridge, and the Lake Blue Ridge Civic Association, are THRILLED to present the original voice of "Eye Of The Tiger", the legendary singer who brought this epic song to life, the one and only Dave Bickler, LIVE in concert, IN BLUE RIDGE, on Saturday, May 20th!! You thought that Kris Allen put on a good show? You enjoyed Shawn Mullins? Then prepare for the very best Firefly Music concert YET!!
This phenomenal show will be held at the sensationally gorgeous home of Brett & Suzanne Ponton, right on Lake Blue Ridge! Tickets are limited, and WILL SELL OUT! Additionally, a very small number of VIP Meet & Greet tickets will be available, but those will go even faster than the General Admission tickets!
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Lake Blue Ridge Civic Association's Scholarship Fund, so come out and enjoy an amazing night of live music, in one of Blue Ridge's most beautiful settings, and support a great cause while you're at it.
Lastly, we will be encouraging all guests to dig deep into your closet and pull out your most outlandish, most extravagant, and most flamboyant tiger striped outfits (don't pretend like you don't have any!) Rocky-inspired boxing shorts will also be considered appropriate attire in lieu of tiger stripes.
