CCSF 16th ANNUAL FASHION SHOW - RISE
CCSF celebrates a bright new future with RISE Fashion Show
Join us at Ruby Skye on Sunday, May 21st for RISE, the 16th Annual CCSF Spring Fashion Show, a bedrock of the San Francisco fashion community featuring the creations of our talented student designers. This student-produced fashion show will commemorate CCSFs reaffirmed accreditation and honor Diane Green, our esteemed former Fashion Department Chair who is retiring this year. Unite with us as we celebrate our bold vision of hope, inclusiveness, and empowerment under the leadership of incoming Fashion Department Chair Kamille Hitz, and as we fete the end of an era as one of Ruby Skyes final events before it closes in the next few months.
Doors will open at 5:00 pm and guests will enjoy a pre-show hors doeuvres reception with delectable bites generously provided by our sponsors. Witness the main event at 6:00 pm, when CCSF senior fashion students showcase their designs and compete for scholarships to the Academy of Art University. A group of our up-and-coming designers will also have an opportunity to feature their designs in our Fashion Gallery segment. Stunning models, eclectic music, and captivating performance acts will round out the excitement. The evening will culminate with the awarding of AAU scholarships to our top senior designers.
Tickets are available now through www.brownpapertickets.com, CCSF bookstores (Downtown, Mission, & Mission campuses), and CCSF fashion students and faculty. Prices are $15 for students (with ID), $20 for the general public, and $40 for VIP which includes seating and a VIP swag bag. We have added a Special VIP experience for $125, which includes a Champagne reception at 4 pm, a preview of the senior collections and a meet-and-greet with the designers, CCSF Fashion Department faculty and CCSF leadership, preferred VIP seating, and a VIP swag bag.
