RVRSR Album Release
RVRSR is releasing debut album, Exit in Sight live @ the Rockwell featuring performances by Breakfast for the Boys & Alec Hutson Trio.
RVRSR: (reverser) Led by singer and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Garvey, RVRSR embodies a refreshing, future sound, painted with the colors of rock, pop, r&b, soul, jazz, and electronica. Since the age of 15, Ryans influences and visions lend an open-minded approach to songwriting and improvisation. Primarily known as a guitarist for a plethora of bands, Ryan's desire to learn more to create more has uncovered paths formerly hidden. Songs and lyrics written in late 2015 spawned from emotions and experiences that were bottled up. This latest effort resulted in the innovative, highly anticipated first album, Exit in Sight.
Breakfast for the Boys: a 5-piece collective of impassioned musicians, dedicated to capturing the accessibility of pop and the soul of rock&roll in original music. The group is fronted by powerhouse lead vocalist Aubrey Haddard "who sings with fiery, ripped-speaker, throat-torching grit that must be seen to be understood," (John Burdick, The New Paltz Times), and supported by an eclectic rhythm section consisting of Sam Smiths bold bass melodies and songwriting, hypnotic ambiance provided by Lukas Brenard on the keys, Pierce Allens extensive range from chicken pickin to heart-wrenching solos on guitar and the undeniable pocket of Roger LaRochelles commanding groove. The group's debut album "The Ides of March," released May 2015, illustrates the large variety of genres and backgrounds being brought to the table, while the second album, scheduled to be released in Summer of 2016, will prove to be a pure representation of this bands authentic sound. With a split home base between Boston and the Hudson Valley Region, B4TB is easy to catch live and consistently touring in the North East. Combining tight-knit groove, old-school blues and new-wave R&B, this band breathes life into a whole new style of soul.
Alec Hutson Trio: A potent mixture of rock, soul, and folk, their music is set to entrance your mind and move your feet. Front man and songwriter Alec Hutson, a Boston native and child of Soviet immigrants, brings captivating indie-folk melodies and lyrics that are intricate while staying authentic and accessible. The rest of the trio, coming from a soul-funk background, help to transform the final product into a distinctly unique sound that virtually anyone can get down to.
