Cooking for Compassion and Health - Hands-on Multi-Course Indian Meal
Do you love Indian food, but feel intimidated by making it at home? Do you think Indian spices are too complicated or that you could never learn the names of all of the various dishes and what those names mean? Are you fascinated by one of the oldest cuisines in the world? If you answered "yes" to any of these, this class for you!
This mini-series explores how to make a complete Indian meal for your family and friends. The two classes are independent of each other, so you can register for one and not the other without missing anything.
The class will be hands on, where you will be actively involved in the preparation of the meal from beginning to end. Because of this, class size is limited to 5 persons.
Class will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Chico in a spacious home kitchen in a beautiful and peaceful environment. Food will be served during the event, and no one will go away hungry. The class fee covers the cost of the foods prepared that day and all handouts.
The class is offered through Dharma Voices for Animals and Sky Creek Dharma Center and part of the monthly Cooking for Compassion and Health series. The next class will be on May 27, 2017.
