Lula Washington Dance Theatre's Youth Recital - 2017
This concert will feature students from as young as three years old, up through young adults who study at the Lula Washington Dance Theatre School. Members of the Lula Washington Dance Theatre Company will also perform on the show.
This is the 37th year for Lula Washington Dance Theatre and the school is celebrating that milestone with a program of many dance styled: ballet; modern dance; jazz dance; tap dance; hip hop dance; African dance; Caribbean dance; Hapkido; drumming; and more.
Discount priced group tickets are available for groups of 10 or more. The discount rate drops the general admission price from $35 to $30 for any group of ten or more. The discount does not apply to student, senior, or, youth tickets - just to the General Admission ticket.
Those who pay an $85 ticket to be part of our Umoja Circle donor group will get to be recognized on stage; go in early for selecting idea seats; and attend a special VIP reception. This is a group that pays an extra fee to help the dance company (which is a non-profit organization) afford the costs of presenting the event in this nice, large theater.
This is our first year at the Centinela Valley Center for the Arts - a beautiful 1,200 seat facility.
