Ceilidh Connections
Join us for a very special ceilidh at The King's Hall (41a S. Clerk St, Edinburgh) to mark the end of Refugee Festival 2017: an evening of dancing, music and food to celebrate the many people, places, initiatives and organisations that make Edinburgh a welcoming city for people seeking sanctuary.
Edinburgh City of Sanctuary, The Welcoming and Re-Act (Refugee Action Scotland) will host this family-friendly event in association with the ceilidh collective. Food will be available from Refugee Community Kitchens (by donation). We've a full ceilidh with dances and calling by the Robert Fish Band as well as a diverse group of support acts from Edinburgh and around the world.
After the shared food we'll have over three hours of dancing. Full licensed bar and fundraising raffle.
Tickets are FREE for refugees, asylum seekers, and volunteers and staff that work within The Welcoming, Re-Act, City of Sanctuary organisations.
We can't wait to welcome you to the hall - book your tickets now and see you there!
