The team of multidisciplinary professionals who currently collaborate to respond to cases of exploitation/trafficking continue to find that adequate, comprehensive trainings are only offered at distance across the state or country and/or span several days while incurring high up-front costs to providers - all of which are serving as barriers to providers' ability to receive collaborative training on sex trafficking that we can utilize in our area. This is why we have decided to bring regionally-relevant and disciplinary-specific training to our County. We want you or appropriate members of your agency or department to attend this event in order to receive professional training on sex trafficking/exploitation and to provide feedback on how we can improve this training as we hope to continue offering it to the area to account for new hires and turnover across disciplines.
