Wordplay: An Evening of Mysterious Improv Benefiting Literacy Works
Literacy Works' signature event is back... with a twist. We are thrilled to present Wordplay: An Evening of Mysterious Improv Benefiting Literacy Works!
Held at the Unitarian Church of Evanston, Wordplay will feature creative catering, beer, wine and our signature drink. Guests will enjoy our eclectic silent auction with something for everyone. We will welcome back Whirled News Tonight, an improv group out of Chicago's famed iO Theater. They'll put on a spectacular, hilarious performance made up on the spot and inspired by mystery novels.
Natalie Moore, author and WBEZ Chicago Public Radio's South Side Reporter, will receive our 2017 Inspiration Award for her work examining education, social equity, and community in Chicago.
