19th Street Band at the Casa Phoenix
Doors open at 6:30 for luscious vegetarian dinner for all, plus mulled wine. Otherwise BYOB. Music starts at 7:30.
The 19th Street Band is one of those I rush to hear wherever they're playing and I can't WAIT to host them for the first time at the Casa. If you haven't yet heard them:
Caolaidhe, from Northern Ireland, met Meghan, a classical violinist, in an Irish bar. By now this is not a joke, it's a band, and with Brian White on bass, they play high energy rock and roll, country, and blues, harmonizing and riffing and obviously having a gorgeous time. As you will, on April 27. Ah, and they are about to release a new album, The Things That Matter, featuring brand new original tunes, at Hill Country BBQ on March 30.
