Rizo performed in New York City as "Lady Rizo and the Assettes" with long-time friend and collaborator Amber Star Merkens from the Mark Morris Dance Group. She won a Grammy in 2010 on a duet with acclaimed cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
Inspired by theatre, vaudeville, burlesque and cabaret Lady Rizo sings vintage pop songs and jazz with glamor and style with a wicked sense of humor to entertain on many levels. Lady Rizo released her debut album Violet on November 19, 2013.
