Songwriters at Avimor - Gayle Chapman

Idaho Songwriters Association is pleased to invite the community to join us for a monthly event featuring songwriters at the Avimor Clubhouse. Sponsored by Academy Mortgage Corporation.

MAY 14 GAYLE CHAPMAN: Gayle showed early signs of becoming a significant musician, learning to play both the piano and guitar in front of audiences before age 10. She first performed original material in a 7th grade talent show and by the time she graduated from high school, she had earned a singing scholarship to Drake University. While continued education didn't work out, Gayle committed herself to performing and refining her craft. She is proud to have studied and performed for The Way International and for Prince. In 1987, Gayle moved to Idaho and has been worked with several artists and productions, including Black Diamond, the Frim Fram Four, the TT Miller Band, Americana on Tour, and Smooth Avenue. Gayle is one of Idaho's best and also teaches students. She is working on her next album.

This is a free event held on the 2nd Sunday afternoon each month. Feel free to bring your own picnic and beverages. Seating and tables provided. All ages welcome and tips to the musician are gratefully accepted.

Avimor offers hiking and biking trails. Feel free to wear your hiking shoes! Event may be held indoors or out on the patio.
