A LUMINOUS FEAST
A deliriously delicious fundraising gala evening of celebration, sumptuous cuisine, wine, music, and revelry.
All proceeds from the event will go to Wise Fool New Mexico and support its array of year-round performances and educational programs, including Circus Luminous, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
SPECIAL OFFER: If you purchase a ticket to the Luminous Feast, you qualify for VIP seating at that day's performance of Circus Luminous! You will need to purchase your Circus Luminous ticket separately at the regular price through the Lensic Box Office, but just confirm with the ticket seller that you have already purchased a ticket to the Luminous Feast, and you will be seated in an excellent location for the Sunday performance! After the performance you can walk to the event at Taberna - this will be the most fun arts patronage experience of the season!
A Luminous Feast is this year's incarnation of Wise Fool's annual Feast of Fools fundraising event, which provides local patrons of the arts a chance to directly support one of Santa Fe's most beloved and award-winning performing arts organizations. This is Wise Fool's main fundraising event of the year, and the money it raises is crucial to the organization's annual budget.
Held at La Boca's new venture, Taberna, the evening will include a gourmet feast of tapas from La Boca's chef/owner, James Campell, roaming entertainment from Wise Fool's finest performers, live music, and a video presentation of Wise Fool's latest work.
However, the feature attraction will be the chance for patrons to meet and mingle with the circus stars of Circus Luminous who have helped create and sustain this amazing intersection of community spirit and world-class performance over the past decade. The timing of A Luminous Feast event allows patrons to walk directly to the event after the closing performance of Circus Luminous weekend on Sunday evening.
Circus Luminous has become a Thanksgiving Weekend family tradition in Santa Fe, playing to four sold-out houses every year at the historic Lensic Performing Arts Center. The success of Circus Luminous reinforces Santa Fe's reputation as "The City Different" home to community circus organization who performs on a world class level.
Tickets to the gala are $150 per person or $250 per couple, with limiting seating available. The event follows the final performance of the 2012 Circus Luminous, which runs from November 23 to November 25 at The Lensic.
