We are so excited to present the wonderful Matti Berglund with new paintings inspired by the Laplander Women. Mattis works were recently displayed at the Royal Gallery in Copenhagen and Oh My Ribs! is proud to be the home of her exclusive engagement in the USA. We are thrilled to accompany her magical art with some of the best standup comedy in town as well as delicious wine tasting.

When I paint I often feel that I'm a part of something bigger. It feels like magic, like sometimes unexpected out of the ordinary with a touch of devine. To be able to feel this, I need to be open to the unknown.
In my paintings I can set the scene. It's like cultivating the soil to make it receptive to seed and rain - and then the magic can happen.
My goal is that the viewer of my work feel a bit of this magic and that they can add their personal story to the piece as well.

Matti Berglund grew up in Norway, but has lived most of her grown up life in Santa Barbara in the USA. She was educated at the University of Denver in Colorado, where she received
