The Legendary Muscle Shoals Revue

Redstone Federal Credit Union proudly presents the 2017 "Three Caves Concert Series" to benefit the Land Trust of North Alabama.

The Series kicks off with the Alabama Music Hall of Fame's Legendary Muscle Shoals Revue courtesy of Jerry Damson Acura and FirstBank.

The Swampers, best known for crafting the "Muscle Shoals Sound", were featured in the documentary Muscle Shoals. Back by popular demand, their 2015 Concert at Three Caves was a SELLOUT!

In the spirit of the esteemed history of Muscle Shoals music, MSR will be performing a dazzling array of chart-topping singles that were recorded in Muscle Shoals by such legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin and the Rolling Stones.

This 15 piece band includes several members of the original Swampers rhythm section including Spooner Oldham, Jimmy Johnson, Clayton Ivey, and Will McFarlane as well as backup vocals by the Shoals Sisters, Marie Lewey and Cindy Walker, and also a wonderful four piece horn section headed up by Charles Rose & Harvey Thompson (Lyle Lovetts Large Band). The group is rounded out by guitarist Kelvin Holy (Pegi Young & the Survivors, Amazing Rhythm Aces), bassist Bob Wray (Ray Charles, The Highwaymen), Vocalists Wayne Chaney (Little Richard Band) and Carla Russell (Kozmic Mama) and drummer Marcus Pope.

Opening up for MSR is the tri-cities favorites The Fiddleworms.
