The Portable Folk Music Festival
Its safe to say that no one has played The Sounding Board more often than the Portable Folk Festival. Founded in 1974 by the Sounding Boards original impressario, Bill Domler, the band consists of Sounding Board stalwarts who have frequented the coffeehouse since its inception. Expect traditional and contemporary folk, a bit of bluegrass, hammered dulcimer and fiddle tunes, and who knows what else they will pull from their eclectic repertoire. Its always fun and a great way to conclude The Sounding Boards 44th season. $16 general, $14 members $10 students, $8 child 12 and under
