Writing Workshop with Nir Paldi
Nir Paldi is the writer and co-artistic director of Bucket List, showing on 28 & 29 April, about a Mexican woman's fight to get justice for the death of her mother who was a campaigner against governmental and corporate corruption. He is a visiting tutor at Rose Bruford College. Aimed at writers and would-be writers, with a focus on writing for performance, Nir would like to explore stories relating to parenthood. A starting point could be:
being parents where it is difficult where it is rewarding what do you think about overpopulation (if you're a parent) did you deliberate the above questions before getting pregnant or was it obvious to you that you'll become parents? if you aren't a parents, would you like to be or is that a decision?
Bring a piece based on this provocation and share an afternoon of powerful, playful translation of words into action. Please note this workshop will focus on writing only. For more information on Nir, please visit: http://www.theatreadinfinitum.co.uk/the-team/ and see our website for information and booking for Bucket List on 28 & 29 April.
