PERFORMER BIOS: Christine Havrilla - Portland based, Philadelphia native, Christine Havrilla, brings her "well-built, catchy, smart tunes" (Upstage Magazine) to the audiences everywhere, touring nationally with the support of her new band project, Gypsy Fuzz. Christine utilizes the soft gritty texture of her vocals to express warmth and honesty listeners quickly embrace as well as her aggressive, raw, trash-style guitar playing. Named "One of the Top Ten Indie Artists" by The Advocate Magazine, The Washington Post writes, "(Havrilla's) songs are intelligent and moving, the arrangements are incisive and colorful, and, best of all, Havrilla consistently comes across as a confident and seasoned performer." Gypsy Fuzz's premier album titled "Searching. Finding. Living.", co-produced by Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, Sleater-Kinney, Cat Power), was listed on Advocate Magazine's not to be missed "Best Overlooked Albums of 2011!" (Advocate -November 2011) and She Wired's Top Ten Albums of the Year! Christine was nominated for About.com's Reader's Choice Awards and is called "...raw, simple, wonderful!" by Curve Magazine. Inessa at 101.9 KINK.FM calls Gypsy Fuzz "Yet another fun late-year discover!" Michaela Majoun at 88.5 WXPN applauds her "terrific, big sound while Philadelphia Magazine states, "She rocks!".
Danie Ward - Vocal powerhouse Danie Ward never fails to impress audiences with her fresh interpretation of contemporary songs and old-school favorites. Her passion and unique talent show through her vocal stylings and natural fluency in a wide range of musical styles.
Her magnetic energy and smile are contagious. She is a sought-after guest performer within Portland's queer community. She has recently performed for the Superstar Divas at CC Slaughter's, the Honey Bea Hart show at Hamburger Mary's and has headlined two shows at the Local Lounge. Additionally, she has taken her talent outside of night clubs, performing for both Portland Pride and Vancouver's Saturday in the Park."
BELINDA CARROLL 2011 finalist for NBC's Stand-Up For Diversity, she caught the comedy bug circa 1986 when she was asked to play not only, "Aunt Sally" in the school comedic masterpiece "Tom Sawyer"; but was also asked to sing the national anthem, in front of the entire school, in a gray-haired wig, floral mu-mu dress, and Mom's orthopedic stockings. With her pride firmly in the gutter, her road had begun!
Lady Jane DJ - A staple in the Seattle area, Lady Jane has performed at many popular events, most notably as a Seattle Inferno house DJ. She also DJ'ed to rave reviews at San Diego Inferno earlier this year. Her comprehensive mix of retro, funk and top 40 will have you bumpin' and grindin' on the dance floor all night!
