Windy City Rollers 2017 Training Camps: Baller Shot Caller Edition!
Boost your 2017 season training by learning new skills from Team USA skater and roller derby veteran, Baller Shot Caller!
Baller Shot Caller will be running four clinics in Chicago, IL, hosted by Windy City Rollers at their practice space (exact address will be sent to clinic participants after ticket purchase). These clinics are open to all skaters over the age of 18. On skates participants must have their own skates and safety gear (mouthguard, helmet, elbow/wrist/knee pads). You will be required to sign waivers to be able to participate.
Clinic Foci:
Saturday AM Session (9a-12p): Defensive blocking
Saturday PM Session (1:30p-4:30p): Jamming strategy and footwork
Sunday AM Session (9a-12p): Offensive moves and sweeps
Sunday PM Session (1:30p-4:30p): Offense to Defense Transitions and knowing when to reset
Skater Weekend Passes are $100.
Skater Individual Classes are $30 each and $55 for the day.
Spectators are $15 per day or $25 for the weekend.

Baller Shot Caller (Tess Harrison) skates for the Atlanta Rollergirls, Dirty South Derby Girls and has played on Team USA since 2013. Known for her powerful blocking and fancy foot work as a jammer, Baller is a triple threat as a pivot for both of her teams. She loves developing new moves to keep an edge over her opponents. Her coaching style focuses on building fundamental skills to develop strong and smart derby players.
