New Surry Theatre presents "Fiddler on the Roof"
In celebration of their 45th season, NST is please to present the award-winning musical "Fiddler on the Roof". This production also marks NST founder and Artistic Director Bill Raiten's retirement from directing. Sheldon Bisberg is musical director and Maureen Robinson is choreographer.
"Fiddler on the Roof" explores the everlasting themes of family, tradition, love and culture. The original Broadway production of "Fiddler on the Roof" had the first musical theater run in history to surpass 3,000 performances. It won multiple Tony awards, including Best Musical and awards for leading actor and actress, score and choreography. "Fiddler on the Roof" has enjoyed six Broadway revivals, a highly successful film adaptation and enduring international popularity.
