CALEB TEICHER and COMPANY
Caleb Teicher and Company bring a radiant performance of tap, jazz, and modern dance to the PS21 stage. The program includes: Variations in which three tap dancers make Bachs Goldberg Variations leap from the page; Small & Tall, in which "small" Macy Sullivan and "tall" Lindsey Jones pair up for a funny and hearwarming duet using a mashup of vernacular jazz, tap, modern, and lame acrobatics, and Meet Ella, in which Teicher collaborates with one of the worlds most eminent swing and vernacular jazz dancers, Nathan Bugh to riff to the music of the Queen of Jazz, Ella Fitzgerald. Caleb began his career at the age of 16 as a founding member of DorranceDance and was awarded a 2011 Bessie Award for Outstanding Individual Performance.
