A Special Celebration with Mo Willems
The St. Louis County Library Foundation and the Novel Neighbor Present A Special Celebration with Mo Willems
Tuesday, May 30, 2017 6:00 pm (Doors open at 5:00 pm) St. Louis County Library Headquarters Main Reading Room 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd. (Library Headquarters will be closed to public service during this event.)
Described as the Dr. Seuss of our generation, Mo Willems is the creator of the beloved children's classics "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!," "Knuffle Bunny," and the Elephant and Piggie series. In this special celebration of all things MO!, he will read from and discuss several of his award-winning favorites, including his latest "Welcome: A Mo Willems Guide for New Arrivals."
TICKETS: $18 (Admits TWO and includes ONE copy of Willems' latest book Welcome.)
All adults and children over two must be included in a ticket purchase. Additional children under two may attend with a ticket holding adult. All children must be accompanied by an adult (adults may accompany more than one child).
Tickets go on sale April 10, 9:00 a.m. and can be purchased through www.slcl.org or at Library Headquarters. Seating and the book signing line numbers will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Early arrival is highly recommended.
The presentation will be followed by a book signing. Additional copies of Mo Willems' books will be available for purchase and signing from The Novel Neighbor.
The proceeds from this event will benefit the Library Foundations literacy programs.
