Fiddleheads with special guest Ed Haynes
About Fiddleheads
The Fiddleheads are a collection of Portland musicians who present an eclectic mix of cross- genre original music. The sound is a little indie tossed with a side of folk and smattering of bluegrass topped with bluesy rock! Their sound has been compared to such groups as Elephant Revival and Mandolin Orange and is inspired by such artists as Tom Waits, John Prine, Emmylou Harris and many others. Members are band organizer Robin Greene-Jacobs, Andy Bardeschewski , Dale Jones, John Manns and Megan Cronin. Each member is multi instrumental and provide vocals and writing skills to the group. The Fiddleheads inspire foot stomping, sing along and the occasional sniffle but mostly they just play darn good music!
About Ed Haynes
In 1988 at the age of 24, before he'd ever had a paying gig, Ed Haynes went from playing open mics in San Francisco to recording a full-length album of original songs. The video for the lead-off track, the sardonic late cold-war era protest song I Want to Kill Everybody aired on MTV. Touring internationally to promote the album he's won life-long fans, at least a handful of them, in just about every single time zone in the western hemisphere. Countless songs and a handful of albums later (the never-released "lost" 2nd album, Poolside Phone, Snacking with a Vengeance, and the career spanning mostly live anthology A Smattering of Applause), he premiered a one-man autobiographical stage show A Man Walks Into a Bar: A Comedy with Songs in 2016.
