Tzedek Chicago Passover Seder
Join Tzedek Chicago for a mid-week Passover seder that will explore the contemporary Mitzrayim ("Egypt") of militarism at home and abroad. How have we, as Americans, become enslaved to the reality of perpetual war? How is it evident in our prisons, immigration detention centers, our police departments as well as in militarism we perpetuate around the world? And how might we go forth to strengthen the growing movements and liberate our communities from this 21st century Mitzrayim?
The service will be led by Rabbi Rosen and Rabbinical Intern Jay Stanton, with music by Leah Shoshanah and Adam Gottlieb
Join us for an evening of community, conversation and, naturally, a delicious meal.
