Eliot Street Soirée presents international touring and recording artist Aaron Larget-Caplan (www.alcguitar.com) in an exciting classical/world guitar program. The solo concert features classics by Bach, Gershwin and Mussorgsky, Spanish masterpieces, new works from his acclaimed CD The Legend of Hagoromo (see the 2nd video below) and a world premiere by Boston-based composer Stanley Hoffman for Aarons much-admired New Lullaby Project. The evening concert will be a virtuosic exploration of the guitar and musical epochs in the 21st century.

Eliot Street Soirée is a fundraising activity of First Church in Jamaica Plain, Unitarian-Universalist. The Soirée hosts 3 to 4 musical events each year to highlight the amazing musical scene--classical, folk, contemporary, and jazz--present in our community, and to showcase its amazing Parish Hall, built in 1874, which is an unheralded acoustic gem in Boston proper.
