East Vancouver Community Music School Spring Fundraising Concert
The East Vancouver Community Music School has been operating as a registered non-profit society since 2008 but has yet to put a roof over its own head. The school has attracted talented students and teachers, growing each year, and offering a diverse range of lessons, classes, and community outreach opportunities. While a permanent home is certainly a long term goal of the EVCMS, the more immediate goal is to provide music lessons at a subsidized rate to ensure that students from low income households can pursue a musical education in this increasingly expensive city.
On May 5th, join the dedicated EVCMS faculty, local clarinet legend Francois Houle, the hilarious Fictionals Comedy Co, and the wildly intricate arrangements of The Ruffled Feathers for an evening of art, comedy, music and surprises.
Dedicated to the love of music, the East Vancouver Community Music School encourages the development of the arts through high quality music instruction and community involvement.
