Magnificat
Mark your calendars for The Wisconsin Chamber Choir's next concert when we will headline music of the Baroque with J.S. Bach's "Magnificat", one of Bach's most popular vocal/orchestral works, and G.F. Handel's "Utrecht Te Deum", written in celebration of the end of a war with Spain, the Peace of Utrecht in 1713. The choir will also sing an uplifting double choir work by J.S. Bach called "Frchte dich nicht" (Do Not Fear).
The Madison performance will be at Luther Memorial Church on Friday, April 28 at 7:30 PM.The choir will be accompanied by our professional orchestra, "Sinfonia Sacra", featuring some of southern Wisconsin's finest orchestral musicians.
