The Rev. Shawn Amos// House Concert// Memphis, TN May 26th at 6:30pm
We are honored to welcome Rev. Shawn Amos back to Memphis to perform at the Memphis Music Mansion on Friday, May 26th. This performance will mark the end of our 4th house concert and because of the magnitude of The Rev.'s performance, we are going to transform the house into a 1950's era Blues Club and let the Rev. work the room.
"General seating" reserves a chair for the event and "Table seating" will reserve a seat at a table for 2 or a table for four. You don't have to be a party of 2 or 4, we'll pair you up with other guests if you reserve a single ticket.
The Rev is a respected LA music producer turned bluesman. He has developed the Kitchen Table Blues, a genre very unique to Shawn and his musical style. His performance at the Memphis Music Mansion will be something you have never seen before. AND making it even more special... on drums will be Mr Rod Bland! Rod toured with Shawn last year in Europe and will be joining him for all gigs this side of the Mississippi!
Please plan to arrive at 6:30 to get the lay of the land and mingle with the artists and your fellow Memphians that love live music as much as you do!
We'll have a simple spread of eatables representative of Memphis and encourage you to bring your favorite dish to share. Shawn and Co. love exploring the culinary side of each town they visit on tour and appreciate the link between food and music. Dust off your favorite recipe and cook something up, ya'll!
