Celebrating Canada 150
Vancouver Orpheus gathers songs from Canada's provinces and territories to celebrate our 150th birthday. All songs are composed or arranged by Canadians. The concert repertoire takes us through the provinces in the order of confederation. Our first celebration concert was a great success with audience members commenting it was one of the best concerts they ever attended.
Also appearing with us is the British Columbia Boys Choir under the direction of Edette Gagne.
The venue is particularly well suited for this occasion with a generous stage, large seating capacity and excellent sound.
