Introduction to Human Venture Leadership - Information Session: April 10, 2017
We are facing enormous global challenges: climate change, resource depletion, population growth, cultural clashes, human rights abuses and more. Changing the path were on requires:
- Understanding human progress, what it is and what it is not - Understanding how our thinking, caring, priorities and behaviours are shaped - Strengthening our collective capacity for wisdom
Since 2000, we have delivered programs that equip participants to better navigate the frontiers of human and social development. Leadership Calgary and Leadership Edmonton merged in the fall of 2015 and launched a new charitable non-profit organization called Human Venture Leadership, offering introductory programs, alumni learning opportunities and other community events. We continue to study patterns in human striving, failure and achievement throughout our species development, so that we can build the capacities needed to reduce waste, suffering, ignorance and injustice for generations to come.
From May 28 - June 2 (with follow up session on June 24) we are offering a week long introductory intensive in Edmonton. This session will be limited to a small group of 10 learners, and will be held 20 minutes outside Edmonton.
Join us on April 10, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at Room 7-122 of the MacEwan University Campus (10700 - 104 Avenue) in Edmonton to learn more.
