Four Shillings Short
Four Shillings Short is the Celtic, folk and world music duo of Christy Martin (from California) and Aodh Og OTuama (from Cork, Ireland) , who take you on a musical journey through time and across seas . These accomplished multi-instrumentalists will delight as they perform traditional and original Irish and Scottish tunes, Medieval and Renaissance music with dashes of Indian ragas with Middle Eastern flavorings on a fantastic array of over thirty instruments, including hammered dulcimer, mandolin, bodhran, North Indian sitar, doumbek, bouzouki, psaltery, percussion, charango, pennywhistles and recorders, banjo and guitar, percussion and vocals. This husband and wife duo of 21st Century troubadours tour the U.S. and all over the world performing over 150 concerts a year ; last appearing in 2015 at OCA and Salmon Creek School (sponsored by Occidental Community Council).
