SPRING AWAKENING
Some Theatre Company presents: Spring Awakening, the rock musical that took Broadway by storm
Show dates April 21 - 30 2017
Spring Awakening explores self-discovery and what it means to experience love and loss. Set in a small 19th century German town, students begin to experience changes that confuse and fascinate them, but coming from a society where the birds and the bees discussion is frowned upon, the students are confronted with the struggle of dealing with these changes without guidance.
Spring Awakening won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and was hailed by the New York Drama Critics Circle, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle as the Best Musical of the Year.
"A miracle that must be seen to be believed. The best new musical in a generation." - The New York Observer
"Imaginatively deconstructs the conventions of musical theatre, pointing the genre forward to thrilling new directions." - Back Stage
Contains mature themes, language and partial nudity
