Smart, funny, informative -- like Rachel Maddow and Jon Stewart with guitars. emma's revolution is the award-winning, activist musicians Pat Humphries & Sandy O. Known to motivate and inspire, bring people to tears and back to laughter, their music has been sung for the Dalai Lama, praised by Pete Seeger and recorded by Holly Near. Touring over 200 days a year, emma's revolution has performed at thousands of events around the world using the power of music to promote peace and justice, womens, LGBT, human rights, labor, and environmental issues.

ABOUT ANNA CRUSIS & MIRIAM DAVIDSON
The opening performers are members from Anna Crusis, a choir placing a special focus on music by, for and about women and their lives. The choir has a long tradition of community service in the Philadelphia area and through performance exposes its audiences on important issues of the day affecting women, youth and disadvantaged populations. Anna Crusis aims to support and uplift its audiences in their struggle for justice, peace and equality.

The group will be directed by Miriam Davidson, a multi-instrumentalist and member of her own "Folk and Roll" duo called Wishing Chair. Miriam will also perform with Sandy & Pat.
