R.L. COLE Robert Louis Cole is a young veteran of the stage, having performed both nationally and internationally with A. Tom Collins (Greater Than Collective), El Sinfin (Rambler Records) and now as a power-house solo performer. His first EP, "The Long Darkness of the Night" was released independently in 2013, followed by the release of a full length Folk-Blues album, "Live from Cherryvale" in 2015.
His sound and style draw heavily from early American music; intertwining Delta blues and Appalachian folk with a dark Southern Gothic influence- "[t]he songwriter breathes a pained gravel tone into his bluesy twang, a lo-fi experience that recalls a little [Tom] Waits and Robert Johnson in places..." ELLI PERRY It has been said that art imitates life. Elli Perry's forthcoming album, Little Thieves, makes a strong case for that theory, showcasing a voice that's as unique as the life its maker has lead. Born and raised in Georgia, Perry began her musical career as a tenacious twelve year old performing on barroom stages around the Southeast. Throughout her adolescence and adulthood, music and movement served as the driving forces that defined her story. She migrated across the country from New York to New Orleans, New Mexico, and Texas, all while touring relentlessly from coast to coast. In 2014, she found herself creatively spent from life on the road, exhausted from a years' long battle with depression, and reeling from a painful divorce. She stepped away from the stage in order to recover, this time crossing oceans instead of states in her search for inspiration and a place to call home. First in a stone cottage in the French countryside, and later in a wallless house in the coastal jungles of Costa Rica, Perry wrote the bulk of the songs that would become Little Thieves. The album, tracked to tape in nine days with producers Adam Landry and Justin Collins (Rayland Baxter, Vanessa Carlton, Deer Tick), is an arresting paean to the loves and lives she has known around the globe. But above all, it is reflection of a woman and an artist carving her own unusual path forward, regardless of where it may ultimately lead. https://www.facebook.com/elliperrymusic/
