The Last Sicilian - a one-man play written by and starring Nick Albanese, one of Rhode Island's favorite comics, is based on true stories about his grandparents, early immigrants from Sicily, his parents, and his childhood growing up with the unique Sicilian perspective. These delightful stories, told only the way he can, are a poignant and humorous mixture of both drama and comedy.

You may learn a little history, you may get a little emotional but you'll definitely have tons of laughs on this Sicilian journey that spans a century, from "right off the boat" all the way to the contemporary pop culture! You don't have to be Sicilian to relate to growing up in a close-knit family at a time when things like the family dinner and playing outside until it got dark were becoming a thing of the past.
