REGISTRATION ENDS FRIDAY, JUNE 30!
A mindfulness retreat for wildly visionary and creative souls!
Thursday, July 27 - Sunday, July 30
* Re-connect with your innate capacity for peace and wisdom * Renew your source of inspiration * Create conditions for a life of meaning and joy This retreat offers us a precious chance to replenish ourselves and discover the regenerative power of mindfulness in many diverse forms.
During this retreat, we will renew our spirits through silence, creativity, music, movement, dialogue, and council practice, along with time in the beautiful natural surroundings of High Meadow Farm in southern New Hampshire.
Our retreat begins with dinner on Thursday, July 27. We will conclude by 12 noon on Sunday, July 30.
Guided with loving care by Maia Duerr and Katya Lesher, we will create a healing space where curiosity and intimacy can flourish; a supportive environment where we can re-connect with each other and ourselves. Sitting meditation will be the touchstone of this retreat, but our days will also include opportunities to learn about and explore the Tree of Contemplative Practices (created by Maia), a tool that can help you discover other kinds of practices that resonate with you.
Our hope is that this retreat will support you to return to your life feeling deeply refreshed as well as empowered with ways to continue coming home to this sacred space inside yourself.

LODGING There are a number of lodging options available for this retreat. For those who wish to stay at High Meadow Farm, you'll enjoy the peace and quiet of this extraordinary farmhouse which has an incredible view of the White Mountains and surrounding lakes. Those staying at HMF have a choice of: * Private room (3 available) * Shared room (sharing with one or two others; let us know if you come with a friend and you wish to share a room with them) * Camping (you'll need to bring your own camping gear; you'll have access to bathrooms inside the farmhouse)
Please note that all HMF lodging options (including private rooms) require sharing a bathroom with at least one other guest. Towels and linens are provided.

FOOD We will enjoy wholesome, nourishing vegetarian food with gluten-free and vegan options available and a loving effort for most ingredients to be organic and locally sourced. The joy of mindful eating will begin with our Thursday evening welcoming dinner, and conclude with a comforting send-off breakfast Sunday morning. A survey will be sent to participants so that you can inform us of any particular allergies or food preferences. We also encourage you to bring your favorite snacks to have between meal breaks.
One of our mindfulness practices will be what's called "samu" in the Zen tradition -- work practice. Participants will be invited to form small teams to help to set up and clean up for our breakfasts and lunches. This kind of practice helps us to integrate our mindfulness into daily life... a wonderful skill to take home with you!
REGISTRATION FEE
Registration ends on Sunday, June 30.
The registration fee for this retreat includes your retreat tuition, lodging, and food from Thursday dinner through Sunday lunch. The fee covers our actual expenses (facility, food, teachers' travel). At the end of the retreat, you will be invited to give "dana" as a way to express gratitude to Katya and Maia and support their livelihood. "Dana" is a Pali word meaning generosity, and it's a gift from the heart in whatever amount feels right to you.
