MBAA's Jazz-A-F!RE - March 2017
Every last Sunday, the Memphis Black Arts Alliance is delighted to present some of the BEST artist in the area at Jazz-A-F!RE, held this month on March 26, 2017 from 4-7pm at Brinson's Downtown, 341 Madison Avenue.
Every month, come and relax to the cool sounds of Prime Cut Trio with spectacular vocals by Cequita Monique. The we feature a guest artist to take us even higher! We end the event by inviting our audience to join in the fun by joining the band on stage in our BYOI (Bring Your Own Instrument) for a full-out jam session! There is nothing in the city like Jazz-A-F!RE!
This month's feature is the soulful musical genius of Eugene Caldwell! Eugene Caldwell, also known as Coolwell, has been making music since age 16, training under such Memphis legends as Kurl McKinnley, Walter Banks, Bobby Evans, Jim Stewart, and Olanda Draper. This exposure helped to propel Eugene forward, utilizing all of his musical giftings to drive the Iconic Memphis Music Scene into soulful success for the 21st Century. Eugene is a trained multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, rapper, music director, music producer and studio engineer. This multi-talented artist is the mastermind behind SoulsvilleUSAs Power Records, Inc. where he has released his first CD entitled The Soul of Staxx. Dont miss the Soulful Musical Brilliance of Eugene Caldwell at Memphis Black Arts Alliances Jazz-A-F!RE, Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Brinsons Downtown beginning at 4pm.
