Playwriting - Ideas and Structure
This workshop will look at how you find the right structure for your piece, whether you are a playwright, theatre maker or are trying to capture something that happened to you. We will explore different approaches to finding the unique and theatrical in your ideas and help you get ready for the next draft. It's a practical workshop about dramaturgy and how you make it work for you. Please come prepared to talk about your project with the other participants and to support others in their process.
Hanna is the dramaturg for Shannon Yee's 'Reassembled, Slightly Askew', showing 27 - 29 April at our Looping the Loop, adventures in performance, spring festival in Ramsgate. Hanna is one of the UK and Irelands most experienced dramaturgs and theatre-makers, specialising in new work, new writing and cross artform collaboration. Hanna has extensive experience in mentoring and facilitating artists in their development processes.
