Cultivating Community Spring Celebration Dinner, Sunday, March 26, 2017, 6PM
Cultivating Community warmly invites you to a Spring Celebration Dinner at 6PM on Sunday, March 26 at the gourmet, chef-owned Cumberland Food Company at 371 Tuttle Road in Cumberland Center. Your presence will mean the world as we throw off the shackles of winter and share our great news: before long, we'll be opening up a major new farming/gardening site at Hurricane Valley Farm in West Falmouth, and we'll operate the 62-acre site for the entire Greater Portland/Cumberland County community.
In case you haven't stopped by yet, the new Cumberland Food Company is owned and operated by legendary Southern Maine chef Bryan Dame, who specializes in local and seasonal delicacies and simple but sumptuous dishes.
Bryan will offer food offerings and libations that are as local as he can make them--and we'll get to enjoy each other's company, share in the feast, and talk about the future of community-based agriculture and education that builds food security for local people.
We are so excited about all the change and growth that we have on the horizon. We are also so grateful that you are an essential friend. Please come out and enjoy with us. We can't wait to see you.
Venue: The Cumberland Food Company, 371 Tuttle Road, Cumberland Center, tel. 207-829-4250
Price: $100 per person including dinner and libations
