Comedy: Dan Crohn, Sam Ike, & more
"The Rockwell and John Tobin Presents Comedy At The Rockwell" The Rockwell in partnership with John Tobin Presents a monthly Saturday night series featuring top local and nationally known comedians with a late night "dirty" show at midnight.
Dan Crohn has been performing stand up comedy in and around Boston for years. His jokes can be heard on XM Radio and he has been a guest on the popular podcast WTF with Marc Maron. A semi-finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and the Laughing Skull Festival, Dan's stories of family and friends have entertained audiences from all over the country. Dan was named one of the top 100 comics for Season 9 of Last Comic Standing. His former day job of teaching 4th graders has provided him with endless amount of material. He has wanted to be a comedian since the age of eight when he stumbled upon his Father's Henny Youngman records.
Sam Ike is a comedian from Boston. He started doing improv and sketch, making appearances at the Del Close Marathon, Philly Sketchfest, Baltimore Improv Festival and the District Improv Festival in DC. Sam was also a member of the Improv Asylum House Teams and ImprovBoston Mainstage. He now performs stand up regularly where he entertains audiences with his unique stage presence and observations. He's performed in the Boston Comedy Festival, Accidental Comedy Festival, Rogue Island Comedy Festival, Cleveland Comedy Festival, Burning Bridges Festival (Pittsburgh) and Milwaukee Comedy Festival. He's also been featured on NPR's You're the Expert, The Knitting Factory in NYC and the outdoor Starlab Fest. Often you can see Sam performing around or as the cohost of the popular weekly Cityside Comedy show or rewriting this bio.
