Ella & Louis Together Again: A Centennial Celebration
Jazzlady Robin Watson and Will Washington aka Billy, bring to life this match made in heaven with 2 spectacular performances at the Open Door Theater.
Jazzlady Robin Watson is a phenomenal vocalist who goes from Big Band Swing to the moving sultry sounds of a torche cabaret singer. Will Washington is a trumpet player, vocalist, and band leader who was born into the Grammy and Stellar Award winning Gospel choir of Reverend Brunson and Thompson Community Singers.
Robin and Will have each performed throughout North and South America, the Caribbean, and Europe. They have joined together to celebrate the incredible music of both Ella Fitzgerald (April 25th marks the 100th Birthday of the First Lady of Song) and Louis Armstrong. This is a show not to miss.
