ARTS ENCOUNTER, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, ages 7 - 10

Monday to Thursday, from 1:00 - 3:00pm
Your young dancers will explore a different story ballet each week culminating in a Thursday family performance.
The children will use improvisation, basic movement concepts, folk dance, and classical ballet to recreate the story ballets. Your children will design and construct costumes, props, and scenery to enhance their production.
At snack time, well explore a different culture and era while we try foods from around the world.
From the fanciful Tea Party, and the fanatic desperation of trying to please the Queen of Hearts, to the regal dance of the House of Hearts, this ballet has every dynamic and form.
If ever there was a young child that was afraid of scary music; this is their opportunity to discover the many moods of music, and how different music can enhance a story.
