Resassembled, Slightly Askew
Artist Shannon Yee puts you not just in her shoes but in her hospital bed using binaural digital technology to convey a clever and moving story of her rocky road to recovery from a rare brain infection.
An autobiographical audio-based artwork about Shannons near-death experience and subsequent acquired brain injury, created with an interdisciplinary team of artists, her neurosurgeon and head injury nurse. Audience members experience Reassembled, Slightly Askew individually, listening to the audio via headphones while lying on hospital beds.
With places limited to the number of beds (six), early booking is recommended for this show offering humanity, insight, and a completely different theatrical experience.
There are 3 performances a day between 27 - 29 April.
Please note: Due to the nature of the performance, unfortunately latecomers will not be admitted.
