Threat Level Orange
One Night Only. Theater Oobleck stages a spoken-word & music performance to benefit the National Immigrant Justice Center. 100% of the proceeds go to this Chicago-based organization that provides legal services for immigrants and works to change punitive laws that tear families apart.
Spoken-word performances by special guests Ian Belknap, Aleksandar Hemon, and Zoe Zolbrod, along with Oobleck regulars Martha Bayne, David Isaacson, and Diana Slickman.
Music by Chris Schoen.
More on our guests: Ian Belknap is a writer, performer, and the Founder and Overlord of Write Club Chicago. Aleksandar Hemon is a novelist and essayist, and winner of several book awards including the 2017 PEN/Jean Stein Grant for Literary Oral History. Zoe Zolbrod is a novelist and memoirist. Her most recent work is The Telling.
