March 2017 LAI Luncheon
Join us for our annual brokers panel to look back at 2016 and explore what trends to look for in 2017 for the San Francisco, Oakland/Alameda County, and Silicon Valley/Peninsula commercial markets.
This panel brings together Aileen Dolby, Executive Vice President at Colliers International; Angus Scott, Senior Vice President at CBRE; and Mark Bodie, Executive Vice President at JLL. Together their extensive breath of experience in the Bay Area leasing and commercial sales markets will provide an informative and exciting discussion about the activity in San Francisco and the ripple effects in Oakland and the South Bay.
BIOGRAPHIES
MARK BODIE, JLL Mark joined JLL in 2013 to establish and lead the Silicon Valley Agency Leasing practice. Mark leads a diverse team of professionals serving an impressive roster of local and institutional clients and a dynamic mix of projects across the Silicon Valley and the Peninsula. During his time at JLL, Mark has successfully executed transactions in excess of 2.0 million square feet with total consideration of $300 million.
Prior to establishing JLLs Agency Leasing practice in the Silicon Valley, Mark spearheaded the Northern California leasing effort for LBA Realty's 10 million square foot portfolio of institutional quality office, industrial and R&D product. Before LBA, Mark served as an asset manager at Prudential Real Estate Investors, and also oversaw market research and economic forecasting at RREEF, with particular focus on the Silicon Valley, Peninsula and San Francisco markets.
Mark graduated from the University of San Diego where he earned a Bachelors Degree in International Relations. Mark is a member and past committee member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). In addition, Mark is a committee member and program chair of the Bay Area Real Estate Roundtable, an event that benefits the Foundation for Autistic Childhood Education and Support (FACES). Mark is also a volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco and The First Tee of San Francisco.
AILEEN DOLBY, COLLIERS INTERNATIONAL Aileen specializes in the sales and leasing of office and office R&D product in Oakland, Emeryville, and Berkeley. Shes been involved in leasing and selling of commercial property in Alameda county for over 25 years. Her clients include developers institutional investors, local property owners, private and public companies, local, regional and national tenants. Aileen has a strong understanding of the mechanics of the various small municipalities in Alameda County. Aileen is active in the Oakland-Piedmont Chapter of the National Charity League.
Aileen began her real estate career in 1986 with CB Commercial as an Office Leasing Specialist for their Oakland office. Prior to joining CB Commercial, Aileen was a sales representative for Motorola. In 1997 she joined Colliers International where she continues to serve office landlords and tenants in Northern Alameda County.
She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1984 with a B.S. degree. She currently lives in Oakland with her husband, John, and three children.
ANGUS SCOTT, CBRE Angus came to CBRE through the 2013 acquisition of The CAC Group, where he was a Principal. With over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, Angus is one of San Francisco's most respected and prolific brokers. His clients include several of the largest and most prominent global real estate investors and firms. His strategic guidance and ability to execute difficult assignments are great assets to his clients.
Angus is a valued member of the 555 California Street listing team on behalf of Vornado Realty Trust, and has the distinction of having completed the some of the largest leases in San Francisco as both a tenant and landlord representative. He recently represented Boston Properties and Hines during Salesforce.coms 715,000 sq. ft. lease at Salesforce Tower (415 Mission Street) the largest lease in San Francisco history.
Angus is a graduate of Harrow School in the U.K. He supports several organizations and charities, including the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco, and the American Cancer Society.
