Con Tutti Concert - Singing Up A Storm!
Con Tutti will be Singin' Up A Storm !!
The 100 singers of Portsmouth's Con Tutti World Music Chorus
will be Singin' Up a Storm on May 6 at 7:30 p.m. At The South Church. But don't worry, the storm will pass over as the concert ends with sun-seeking songs like I Can See Clearly Now, the rain is gone!
Joanne Connolly directs an exciting storm of songs...from hard-hitting Gospel , to upbeat South African....from a fun rainforest chant of the Baka people to a terrific Pentatonix a capella hit. Of course James Taylor shows up with Shower the People and ending with a very fun reggae version of I Can See Clearly Now. Boston's Matt Jenson, Winston Maccou and David Rivera will be on hand to drive the Gospel music home and make it really hard for the people to stay in their seats while listening to the reggae beat. The audience will be invited to create a downpour! ...musically!
