Cemetery Tours

Experience a unique tour of the prison and the rarely seen cemetery. Unlock the mysteries of the dead with us as guides explore where inmates died, what their final moments were like, and where they are eternally laid to rest. Also, discover why more than half the cemetery is riddled with "Unknown" markers, no markers at all, and why some names cannot be found in any prison register.

Your Cemetery Tour ticket also entitles you to a self-guided tour of the prison the day of your visit* and the informational booklet "Buried Secrets: Inmates of the Idaho State Penitentiary Cemetery".

Tickets are $15 each. Strongly recommended 13+ due to graphic content, parental discretion is advised.

Available times are 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the following dates:

Tuesday, March 21st
Wednesday, March 22nd
Thursday, March 23rd
Friday, March 24th

Tour will leave promptly at start time. If you are late, you will NOT be permitted to join group, no refunds.

*Please note, the regular prison yard begins lock up at 6:45 and will be closed at 7pm. We would advise you to do your self guided yard tour prior to your cemetery tour.
