The music between 1977 - 1992 comprised of various projects, from Big In Japan to The KLF, the details of which have now faded into the twilight world of pub pop quiz questions and car boot sale bargain box oddities.The music between 2003 2013 was a choir called The17. The17 was Drummonds response to the ubiquity of recorded music. From its inception, The17s end date was always known. The actions have been the one constant in his practice. NEU! REEKIE! Where Are We Now? 'The UK has reached a crossroads. Where it goes next is anyones guess. Dark divisive forces of racism and prejudice are stirring across the UK (and Europe) in the wake of Brexit and across the Atlantic following the election of Donald Trump. We need to ask our artists, musicians & writers where they stand. Come together. Ask questions. Listen & watch. Dance. Shake things up. This is where we're at. Neu! Reekie!'s Where Are We Now? Festival will take place in Hull for Hull City of Culture 2017 in June 2017 - the questions start now Edinburgh.;
Neu! Reekie! is supported by Creative Scotland
